dc.description.abstract"This is a degree program in psychology that intends to provide a very different approach to the study of psychology. By rejecting the more common approach of ""integrative psychology"" which the authors define as an ecclectic collection of various psychological approaches, and rejecting also Personalist Psychology, not because of its emphasis on the individual, but because of the need not to neglect human nature, they espouse a model which they call ""Integral Psychology of the Person"" that seeks to bring together a solid Christian Anthropology, based solidly on the thomistic understanding of the person, with important contributions by psychology. The rejection of the two aforementioned approaches is not so much a rejection as a ""going beyond"", engaging questions that those methods fall short to address. This enables this program to provide a more coherent and complete understand of psycholoy at the service of the person."en_US
